March 16, 2023 – Today the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announced that Velocity Clinical Research has joined the organization as a Global Impact Partner (GIP). The world’s largest fully integrated site organization, Velocity delivers high-quality data, exemplary patient care, and unprecedented efficiency for clinical trials at any scale.
As part of this partnership, Velocity will align with more than 50 other Global Impact Partners comprised of sites, sponsors, CROs, and service providers dedicated to establishing meaningful collaboration between industry stakeholders and clinical research sites.
Paul Evans, PhD, President and CEO of Velocity, said the company is excited to leverage this partnership to further improve clinical research, both within Velocity and industry-wide. “The SCRS community can play an integral role in the way sites shape and share best practices — through advocating on our behalf, connecting us with other sites, Sponsors, and CROs, and providing one another with mentorship and educational opportunities. With this enhanced partnership, we look forward to sharing our expertise with SCRS and other GIP members on a greater scale.”
“Velocity is an integral part of the SCRS community,” commented Marcus Maleck, Director of Global Business Partnerships. “We are excited to expand this partnership further and welcome the Velocity team to the GIP program. Sites joining the GIP program provides even more opportunities for solution-focused dialogue and program development with the SCRS leadership team and our extensive GIP community.”
