FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Total Clinical Trial Management Becomes Funding Sponsor of SCRS Diversity Program

Hanover, MD, November 4, 2020 – Today the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announced that Global Impact Partner, Total Clinical Trial Management (TCTM), has made a commitment to become a funding partner of the SCRS Diversity Program, Site Awareness and Best Practices for Inclusion of Diverse Populations in Research. The program is aimed at developing a better understanding of the knowledge, expertise and best practices required for clinical research sites to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse population, and to provide knowledge and solutions to aid sites in more successfully including diverse populations in clinical research.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with SCRS in support of helping to heighten awareness and knowledge of diversity best practices within the site community,” said Melynda Geurts, MS, Senior Vice President of Business Operations for TCTM. As the TCTM liaison to the SCRS diversity program, she said “it is important to us to actively support this endeavor that is so critical to the clinical research industry.”

“The SCRS Diversity Program is gaining momentum as it welcomes new supporters,” said Allyson Small, COO of SCRS. “TCTM’s partnership enables us to expand the focus of this essential program and drive solutions, and at the same time deepens TCTM’s relationship with the sites.”
