FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SCRS Announces Submissions Open for Site Patient Recruitment Innovation Award (SPRIA™) and Site Tank™ Awards
Hanover, MD, June 25, 2020 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announced today that it is accepting submissions for two upcoming awards given at its annual Global Site Solutions Summit: the Site Patient Recruitment Innovation Award (SPRIA™), and the Site Tank Award.
SPRIA recognizes and honors highly successful patient recruitment initiatives. Emphasis is placed on innovative, patient-directed programs that are unique and effective and acknowledge the patient’s perspective on participation. Key elements include achieving or exceeding patient enrollment, study timelines, and budget goals. An independent judging panel will select three finalists from the submissions. Learn more about SPRIA and submit your site’s innovative recruitment plan for consideration.
“The Site Tank award recognizes research sites that have developed innovative technology solutions that enhance and improve clinical research operations and transform business models.” Said Jimmy Bechtel, SCRS Director of Innovation and Engagement. “In years past, Site Tank finalists have immediately received industry support to develop their idea.” An independent judging panel will ask the finalists questions and the audience will vote to determine the winner. Learn more about Site Tank and submit your innovative technology idea for consideration.
Submissions for SPRIA and Site Tank will be accepted through August 19, 2020
Winners of both awards will be announced at the 2020 Global Site Solutions Summit, taking place October 9 – 11, 2020 in Hollywood, Florida. Focused uniquely on sites, SCRS Summits provide a venue where sites, sponsors, CROs, professional service providers and regulators can gather to share best practices for site sustainability.
