2024 - VOL. 1

From the SCRS Team

With the new year comes exciting developments for SCRS and our community. In January, SCRS announced the evolution of its diversity-focused program and Summit, which are now called IncluDE. The updated names signify a pivotal moment for SCRS and industry partners working to enable more diverse, equitable and inclusive clinical trials. Join us at the IncluDE Site Solutions Summit from April 8-9 in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by the Oncology Summit from April 10-11 in the same location! Whether your focus is patient inclusivity or oncology operations, the dual impact of these summits ensures you’re equipped for success in your partnerships and trials. Register before March 1 to get the best rate available.

The SCRS team is also preparing for the second annual SCRS West: Clinical Tech & Innovation Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona. If your organization is working on solutions to streamline site operations, SCRS West will provide a unique opportunity to share ideas, receive feedback, and collaborate in ways that will improve clinical research for all. Bring leaders who will share what they’ve learned to make meaningful changes within your organization’s business practices!

New publications are now available, including the 2023 Site Landscape Survey white paper. Reflecting the current pulse of the industry, this year’s survey shares insights related to clinical technology and innovation, participant diversity and inclusion, site financial health, and record retention. The SCRS Digital Innovation Initiative (DII) also released a Best Practices & Recommendations for Sites Utilizing Connected Devices Guide, which guides sites to better understand and operationalize connected devices in clinical trials. Utilize this resource to learn how to enhance the site and patient experience with connected devices by promoting a simpler and more integrated systems approach.

To support our community around the globe, translation is now available on the SCRS website! Simply select the language of your choice on the top right. Current languages include Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, German and Polish.

We’re always looking to feature sites and industry organizations in our publications. Reach out to communications@myscrs.org to learn how you can share your story with our community! We hope to see you soon at an upcoming SCRS Summit. Be sure to follow SCRS on LinkedIn and subscribe to our emails to receive the latest updates from SCRS.
