SCRS Announces New Additions to Its Leadership Council

May 10, 2023 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS), the global trade organization fully dedicated to representing the interests of clinical research sites, today announced additions to its Leadership Council after voting by current council members. Established upon the organization’s formation in 2012, the Leadership Council is comprised of site leaders and Global Impact Partners and provides strategic guidance, policy decisions, and oversight for SCRS.

These members were chosen based on their involvement with the organization, executive experience in the clinical research industry, and capacity to represent the mission of SCRS. The six new additions to the SCRS Leadership Council include:

  • Diana Foster, PhD, CEO, Total Diversity Clinical Trial Management
  • Rodrigo Garcia, VP, Sites & Patients Center of Excellence, PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific
  • Jane Hiatt, Executive Director, Site Management and Monitoring and ESD, Merck
  • Virginia Nido, Product Development Industry Collaborations, Roche
  • Steve Satek, Chief Commercial Officer, Flourish Research
  • Karri Venn, COO & President, Centricity Research

Allyson Small, Chief Operating Officer, SCRS commented, “As a strategic decision-making body, the Leadership Council plays a vital role in shaping the direction of SCRS, and I am confident that the insights and contributions of Diana, Rodrigo, Jane, Virginia, Steve and Karri will have a positive impact on the organization’s continued growth and success. Their experience and expertise in advocating for the needs of clinical research sites will guide SCRS forward in many positive ways.”
