Empowering Oncology Clinical Research Site Success
The SCRS Oncology Program empowers clinical research sites as essential partners in the cancer research ecosystem. Through targeted resources, advocacy, and collaboration opportunities, the program helps sites overcome complex operational challenges while strengthening relationships between sites, pharmaceutical companies, and patients.
Built for Oncology’s Complexity. Driven by the Site Voice.
Oncology trials carry a level of operational and scientific complexity general site resources don’t address. The SCRS Oncology Program unites sites, CROs, sponsors, and solution providers to tackle it together. Through industry alliances, hands-on networking, targeted education, and standardized assessment of sponsor and CRO partnerships, the program strengthens site sustainability and improves patient access to cancer trials.
Forty percent of sites spend up to 15 hours per month per trial on technology training alone, and a quarter of sites are spending up to 20 hours or more.
Compared to 80% completion rate for non-oncology and 49% completion for rare disease trials.
