January 9, 2023 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) is pleased to announce Karri Venn, COO and President at Centricity Research, as the new SCRS Global Site Solutions Summit Committee Chair. Comprised of experts from research sites, solution providers, CROs and sponsors, the Global Site Solutions Summit Committee provides direction on activities for the Global Summit, held annually in the United States. Venn announced her acceptance of the role at the 2022 Global Site Solutions Summit in Hollywood, Florida.
“This conference and community of sites have been instrumental in my own personal and professional growth,” said Venn. “It’s an incredible family of sites and industry that are open to collaboration and finding solutions to the barriers we face on a day-to-day basis. I am more than grateful to be giving back by taking on this role and hope to serve this community to the best of my abilities. I welcome suggestions and feedback to ensure SCRS best serves the site community as we find a path forward and embrace change.”
“Karri has been an integral part of the SCRS Global Summit since 2012, as well as Summit co-chair since 2021,” said Allyson Small, SCRS Chief Operating Officer. “SCRS aims to grow and improve the Global Summit each year, and we are confident Karri’s dedication and innovation will help us achieve this goal. We look forward to exploring ways to expand our solution-focused programming for sites and industry partners with Karri’s leadership.”
