July 2022
From the SCRS Team
The clinical research industry is experiencing a unique time of incredible collaboration opportunities. We witnessed that firsthand in the dialogue and takeaways from the inaugural Diversity Site Solutions Summit and Global Oncology Summit in May and the Australia-New Zealand Summit in July. Right now, we are all rallying together to make clinical research more efficient, more accessible, and more sustainable.
As inflation rates continue to soar, SCRS recently developed a Task Force committee to help sites address workforce staffing challenges and budgeting concerns. Part of that effort was an open letter to industry Sponsors and CROs. Read or listen to the discussion with some of our Task Force committee members to learn what SCRS is doing to help facilitate dialogue around these pressing issues. Be sure to join us for the next Sites NOW meeting to learn what you can do to help your site, or sites you work with, navigate these uncharted waters.
Working together to find solutions is now more important than ever, and this will be represented in this year’s SCRS Eagle Award – a recognition that has celebrated extraordinary site-industry relationships for more than a decade. Thank you to all the sites that cast your votes for Sponsors and CROs making great strides in ensuring exceptional collaboration, communication, flexibility and fairness. Final voting begins July 25 and recipients will be announced at the Global Site Solutions Summit October 7-9 in Hollywood, Florida. Sites, please be sure to submit yourselves for other SCRS awards including the Christine K. Pierre Site Impact Award, Excellence in Patient Centricity Award, Site Tank and SPRIA. The 2022 Global Site Solutions Summit will be a grand celebration as SCRS commemorates 10 years of advancing site success!
SCRS sincerely thanks our community for your continued commitment to work towards improved solutions and partnerships that impact all facets of clinical research. You are helping make a change that will have a ripple effect for years to come!

SCRS Membership Update
We all like to receive upgrades, right? Especially when it’s moving from business class to first class while flying, or being moved from a standard hotel room to a suite with a view. Well, SCRS is in the process of upgrading our website user experience just for you!
If you have recently visited myscrs.org, you may have already noticed a change in scenery as we reorganized the website menu. For example, under the new Resources tab, you will find all our publications, the career center, member resource library, and more. Under Membership, we have a new tab for existing members with links to all your benefits in one easily-accessible place.
Individuals from the SCRS Membership Committee offered valuable input that has helped us make decisions in the process of tweaking our content and design. If you have any feedback you would like to share for our website content and navigation, please let us know.
SCRS wants to ensure that we continue to give you the best experience possible. Thank you in advance for your patience as we continue to make beneficial changes while refreshing the website in the weeks and months ahead. We know you will truly appreciate the upgrade!
Also, a warm welcome to our newest member, trialogic!
