FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ellicott City, M.D., June 1, 2015 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS), the global trade organization fully dedicated to representing the interests of clinical research sites, today announced the program for the 2015 Asia-Pac Site Solutions Summit. The Asia-Pac Site Solutions Summit will be July 30-31, 2015 in Melbourne, Australia. The Summit is open to clinical research Investigators, site executives and industry stakeholders.
The Asia-Pac Site Solutions Summit was developed in response to high demand from the Society’s membership for increased accessibility to the Summit program. The Asia-Pac Site Solutions Summit program will explore site-relevant topics, including business development, inspection readiness, recruitment and retention, the impact of technology on clinical research, and adherence to governance and ethical standards. Major pharmaceutical companies will be represented at the Summit, including PPD, Lilly, GlaxoSmithKline, Quintiles, and INC Research. The collaborative environment of the Global Site Solutions Summit, October 8-11, 2015, in Amelia Island, Florida, will be replicated in Melbourne: attendees will be encouraged to share the challenges they face in high-level, solution-focused dialogue with sponsors, CROs, and other sites.
“SCRS consolidates feedback every year from Summit attendees, and in recent years the demand for more locations has become tangible,” comments Christine Pierre, President, SCRS. “Ensuring that sites’ voices are heard globally is the Society’s main priority, and extending our program to the Asia-Pac region, and the EU in November, will expand the Summit’s scope and impact. The Summit provides a platform for driving dialogue and change focused on site sustainability and building positive relationships between sites, sponsors, and CROs. SCRS is looking forward to taking our unique program to Melbourne.”
Registration for the Asia-Pac and Global Site Solutions Summits is open.
