FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ellicott City, MD, May 7, 2018 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announced today that Jimmy Bechtel has joined the staff to manage the execution and delivery of SCRS projects. He has been active and engaged in the clinical research industry for the past six years, previously holding positions on both the site and sponsor sides of the industry.
Jimmy joins SCRS as senior project manager to coordinate project performance and implementation and to mitigate risks. In addition, he will manage project scope and will track performance metrics. “I am thrilled to join the SCRS team and work with an organization that is dedicated to meeting the needs of clinical research sites globally,” said Jimmy. “I welcome the opportunity to advance initiatives that will help sites and sponsors come together to bring medicines to patients faster. The projects I will be working on with SCRS are exciting and I cannot wait to see what is ahead.”
“SCRS is excited to have Jimmy join the team. Jimmy’s long-term experience in working on both the site and sponsor side of the industry will prove invaluable to our members and partners,” said Allyson Small, vice president of operations for SCRS. “His ability to utilize this experience when navigating challenges to arrive at viable solutions is exactly what SCRS strives for in all of our advocacy and initiative work; because as we know, when sites are successful everyone is successful.”
