SCRS Announces Call for Submissions for 2022 Awards Recognizing Clinical Research Sites
Hanover, MD, December 13, 2021 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) is pleased to announce it is now accepting submissions for 2022 awards, including Site Tank, the Site Patient Recruitment Innovation Award (SPRIA), and the Excellence in Patient Centricity Award.
The Excellence in Patient Centricity award celebrates a clinical research site that has proven its organizational commitment to innovative patient engagement practices. Sites can submit their patient-centric objectives, processes, and practices and showcase their understanding of clinical research from the patient perspective.
SPRIA recognizes clinical research sites that have utilized innovative strategies for patient recruitment to achieve enrollment success. In judging submissions, emphasis is placed on patient-directed initiatives that are unique, effective and acknowledge the patient’s perspective on participation. Key elements include achieving or exceeding patient enrollment, study timelines, and budget goals.
Modeled after the popular television program, “Shark Tank” the Site Tank award highlights research sites that have developed technology solutions that enhance and improve clinical research operations and transform business models. Three finalists per award will be selected for SPRIA and Site Tank where finalists will receive complimentary registration to the 2022 Global Site Solutions Summit to present their ideas to an audience of sites, sponsors, and CROs.

Submissions for each award will be accepted via the SCRS Global Site Solutions Summit website through August 15, 2022. The SCRS leadership team and independent judging panels will review each submission to select award finalists and winners. Winners will be announced at the 2022 Global Site Solutions Summit in Hollywood, Florida October 7-9, 2022.
