December 15, 2022 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announced today that EQRx, a new type of pharmaceutical company committed to developing and expanding access to innovative medicines for some of the most prevalent disease areas, including cancer and immune-inflammatory conditions, has joined SCRS as a Global Impact Partner (GIP). The SCRS GIP Program provides unique opportunities for industry sponsors, CROs, solution providers and sites to collaborate on initiatives to address site-facing challenges. Becoming a GIP demonstrates EQRx’s commitment to develop a deeper understanding of the needs of sites and contribute to the development of site-focused solutions in the marketplace.
“We are pleased to join SCRS to further enhance our clinical trial operations and collaboration with the clinical research site community,” said Christian Antoni, M.D., Ph.D., chief global development officer of EQRx. “This partnership will further our ability to conduct efficient clinical trials as we continue to work to address prevalent disease areas with new, innovative medicines.”
“SCRS is excited to welcome EQRx to the Global Impact Partner community, where listening to site voices is a top priority,” said Sean Soth, SCRS VP of Global Business Partnerships. “EQRx is working on important developments in the oncology and immune-inflammatory spaces, which are key therapeutic areas for SCRS as well. We look forward to collaborating with the EQRx team as part of the GIP program to continue bridging the gap between pharmaceutical industry stakeholders and sites.”
