SCRS Announces Call for Submissions for Site Patient Recruitment
Innovation Award (SPRIA™) and Site Tank™ Awards
Hanover MD, June 28, 2021 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announced today that it is now accepting submissions for two prestigious awards given at its annual Global Site Solutions Summit: the Site Patient Recruitment Innovation Award (SPRIA) and the Site Tank Award.
Sponsored by StudyKIK, SPRIA recognizes clinical
research sites that have utilized innovative strategies for patient recruitment
to achieve enrollment success. In judging submissions, emphasis is placed on
patient-directed initiatives that are unique, effective and acknowledge the
patient’s perspective on participation. Key elements include achieving or
exceeding patient enrollment, study timelines, and budget goals. Learn more
about SPRIA and submit
your site’s innovative recruitment plan for consideration.
Modeled after the popular television program, “Shark
Tank”, the Site Tank award recognizes research sites that have developed
technology solutions that enhance and improve clinical research operations and
transform business models. In years past, Site Tank finalists have immediately
received industry support to develop their idea. Learn more about Site Tank, sponsored by
Pfizer, and submit your innovative technology idea for consideration.
Submissions for SPRIA and Site Tank will be accepted
through July 31, 2021. After finalists are selected by an independent judging
panel, the top three finalists for each award will receive complimentary
registration to the 2021 Global Site Solutions Summit where they will present
to an audience of sites, sponsors, and CROs attending the 2021 Global Summit. An
independent judging panel will ask the finalists questions and the Summit audience
will vote to determine the winner.
Winners of both awards will be selected at the Summit
which will take place October 1 – 3, 2021 in Hollywood, Florida. Focused
uniquely on sites, SCRS Summits provide a venue where sites, sponsors, CROs,
professional service providers, and regulators can gather to share best practices
for site sustainability. Attendees will experience inspirational keynote and
data-driven plenary sessions, symposiums, engaging networking events, contact
hours/CMEs earning opportunities, and much more. Register for the Global
