About the SCRS Ambassador Program

The SCRS Ambassador Program is designed to cultivate a network of influential research industry professionals who will serve as SCRS ambassadors, bridging the gap between clinical research sites within their respective regions.

The Ambassador Program supports the global site community and other industry stakeholders by providing active and ongoing dialogue and content exchange. By attending Ambassador Symposiums, regional site attendees will have access to all SCRS member benefits for their entire organization.

Ambassador Program Asia Regional Lead

Li-Yuan Bai, M.D., M.M.S., Ph.D.

Prof. Bai graduated from the National Yang-Ming University School of Medicine in 1987 and completed the PhD program at China Medical University in 2011.

Since 2005, he served as a visiting staff at the Division of Hematology and Oncology in China Medical University Hospital in Taiwan. Currently, he is the Director of the Hematology and Oncology division, and Vice Director of the Clinical Trial Center at China Medical University Hospital. The professional fields of Dr. Bai include cancer of gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, biliary tract, gastrointestinal stromal tumor, and neuroendocrine tumor. He has participated many global clinical trials in relevant fields and is the leading principal investigator in three PI-initiated clinical trials. Prof. Bai is also active in first-in-human and early phase clinical trials, with the engagement of 34 first-in-human or phase I trials between 2014 to 2022. Prof. Bai has published more than 120 peer-reviewed articles, including Lancet, Lancet Oncol, J Clin Oncol, Ann Oncol, Cancer Res, Clin Cancer Res, Biochem Pharmacol, and Cancer Cell Int, et al.

*Qualified site attendees will receive a one-year digital SCRS membership scholarship for your location. To qualify, you must be currently working at a site located within the named SCRS Ambassador region. (Sites located or headquartered in any other geography are not eligible). SCRS membership benefits will be available to all registered staff at your physical location. SCRS membership benefits are not transferable from originating SCRS Ambassador scholarship award.
