SCRS to provide keynote address at SCOPE Summit for Clinical Operation Executives.
Rockville, MD – January 29, 2013 This February 5-7, Cambridge Health Institute will host their annual Summit for Clinical Operations Executives (SCOPE). SCRS President, Christine Pierre, has been invited to present the keynote presentation on Tuesday February 5th. Christine’s presentation will cover the importance of site partnerships, and the impact that strategic alliances have on operational performance for sponsors and CROs.
The emergence of The Society for Clinical Research Sites, and the growth of corporate membership to nearly 300 member companies, suggests that both sites and industry continue to invest in deeper relationships that impact performance and operational outcomes.
Doug Peddicord, Ph. D. and Executive Director of ACRO will co-present with Christine on the benefits of making partnerships work. If you or a colleague plan to attend, SCRS hopes to see you at the presentation.
SCRS is the trade association representing the global clinical research sites. Through the society, sites will become active partners in industry-wide dialogues focused on improving the clinical research enterprise. SCRS has a mission of advocating on behalf of its members, connecting sites and other stakeholders to build a purposeful community, educating sites and the industry to create a foundation for informed action, and mentoring sites to help sustain and build a strong site foundation. Membership in SCRS is open to clinical research sites and companies that sponsor or support the work conducted at sites. Visit www.myscrs.org.
