The new year always brings about future-oriented visions for the clinical research industry, talking about the rise of this or that. And for sure, some of these things come to pass, but there are plenty of predictions that don’t age well – blockchain anyone?
For once, let’s talk about things that are here to stay. What truth is so embedded in our lives that they will eat strategy for lunch, like technology proliferation?
Or most importantly, what are the foundational principles that literally define the two words that make up the nomenclature of our industry?
The words “Clinical” and “Research” reflect the simple and profound concept of performing science on human beings. Here is my short list of things that won’t change in 2024.
