FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SCRS Welcomes Novo Nordisk as a New Global Impact Partner

Ellicott City, MD, July 6, 2017 — The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announced today that Novo Nordisk is a new Global Impact Partner (GIP). Novo Nordisk is a global health care company providing leadership and innovation in the care of diabetes and other chronic diseases. As a GIP, Novo Nordisk will serve on the SCRS Global Impact Board, working with the Leadership Council to set and pursue strategic initiatives.

“Novo Nordisk’s commitment to sites was recognized when they were the sponsor winner of the 2016 SCRS Eagle Award,” said SCRS president, Christine Pierre. “We are excited Novo Nordisk is showing their support of the sites through collaboration with SCRS as a GIP.”

“Building strong relationships with our clinical research sites is a driving factor in our mission to discover and develop better biological medicines,” said Kate Owen, Vice President, Clinical Trial Management. “Joining SCRS as a Global Impact Partner is an exciting opportunity to partner with industry leaders to collaborate on research practices that will ultimately drive change to improve patient lives.”
