Ellicott City, MD, July 18, 2017 — The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announced today that Bayer is a new Global Impact Partner (GIP). Bayer is a global life science company with core competencies in the areas of health care and agriculture. As a GIP, Bayer will serve on the SCRS Global Impact Board, working with the Leadership Council to set and pursue strategic initiatives.
“As a worldwide clinical trial sponsor, Bayer is an important stakeholder with regard to standards that affect site sustainability,” said SCRS president Christine Pierre. “We are excited to welcome Bayer as a GIP and look forward to collaborating towards our shared goal of strengthening sites.”
Within this collaboration, Bayer will be directly working with clinical trial sites and other industry peers to address challenges of clinical development and drive future improvements.
