FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SCRS and Greenphire Release Global Payment Processes White Paper

Ellicott City, MD, April 26, 2017 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announces the release of a new white paper produced in partnership with Greenphire titled “Site Payments and Patient Reimbursements: A Global Perspective.” This white paper presents global data for the first time and validates SCRS advocacy for four key improvements from payers.

“Sites are looking to streamline the way payments are processed and received,” said Christine Pierre, president of SCRS. “These survey findings demonstrate that sites, both in the U.S. and abroad, want to find new ways to cut down on administrative burdens and focus on research. We are excited about the advances being made by solution providers both in the U.S. and around the world.”

“Our survey validates that there is a tremendous opportunity to eliminate the manual administrative burdens at sites to empower sites and improve the patient experience,”  sites are a global issue,” said Jim Murphy, CEO, Greenphire. “There is a significant opportunity to streamline processes and free up resources that were previously spent manual processes related to payment processes – both reconciling payments from Sponsors and CROs and distributing reimbursements to patients.”
