Peter Fredette Announced as SCRS Global Oncology Site Solutions Summit Committee Chair

June 13, 2022

Hanover, MD, June 13, 2022 – The Society of Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) is pleased to announce Peter Fredette, Oncology Strategic Site Solutions Director at IQVIA, as the new Global Oncology Site Solutions Summit Committee Chair. Comprised of experts from research sites, CROs, and Sponsors in oncology clinical research and patient care, the SCRS Oncology Board creates greater efficiency and sustainability for sites working with oncology patients through education, research, and resources.

Peter Fredette commented, “As an advocate for and contributor to SCRS Oncology from the very beginning, I am always thinking about ways the program can grow and evolve. Every SCRS Summit I attend results in great personal and professional value. This community of research sites and site advocates is unlike any other, and I’m proud to be a member. I am honored to be nominated and humbly accept the SCRS Oncology Board Chair position. Like my esteemed predecessors, I commit to continuing the program’s focus on oncology research site advocacy and sustainability. I urge all oncology research sites to join the community, the conversation, and the collaborative. What we do TOGETHER in the next couple of years can be truly transformational, if we take full advantage of the current industry tailwinds.”

“Peter has made valuable contributions to the SCRS Oncology program and Oncology Site Solutions Summit for many years, including leading efforts to develop a Phase 1 Guidance Document for Sites and advising our Oncology Summit content development,” said Jimmy Bechtel, VP of Site Engagement and SCRS Oncology Program co-lead. “With the addition of Peter’s input and guidance, the program will continue to encourage collaboration and process efficiency within the oncology community.”
