Pacific Clinical Research Network NZ Joins SCRS Global Impact Partner Program

July 30, 2024

July 30, 2024 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) is thrilled to announce a Global Impact Partnership with Pacific Clinical Research Network (PCRN), the largest clinical trial network in New Zealand. The SCRS Global Impact Partner (GIP) program is comprised of clinical research sites, sponsors, CROs, and professional service providers, which enables a unique opportunity to engage with SCRS and its site members.

Pacific Clinical Research Network was established in 2021 through a merger of Lakeland Clinical Trials Group and Southern Clinical Trials Group which have been in operation since 2002. In 2023, PCRN expanded its offering and has a brand-new purpose-built Early Phase Unit in Auckland which now complements their late phase sites. As one of the country’s leading private clinical research companies, PCRN offers a streamlined, integrated nationwide partner network of nine private clinical research trial sites across New Zealand.

“Having been a longstanding member and supporter of SCRS, we are excited to join as a GIP member, a move that perfectly aligns with PCRN’s core vision of bridging healthcare and research through collaboration. As a leading clinical trial provider, this partnership strengthens our ability to collaborate with other sites, sponsors, and CROs, driving healthcare excellence and keeping participants and quality at the forefront of clinical research,” said Rosie McKellar, CEO of PCRN.

“This strategic collaboration with PCRN marks a significant milestone for both organizations. As SCRS’ first GIP in New Zealand, working with PCRN will set a new standard for collaboration and innovation worldwide,” added Marcus Maleck, Vice President of Global Business Partnerships with SCRS. “SCRS welcomes the PCRN team to this esteemed coalition aimed at ensuring research site success and sustainability. With PCRN’s resources and expertise, SCRS and its partners are poised to drive forward advancements that will benefit the entire clinical research ecosystem.”
