Hanover, MD, March 29, 2022 – Today the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announced that Michele Cameron, BSN, MBA, CCRC, Director of Clinical Research at Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants, has joined the organization’s Leadership Council. In this role, Cameron will join sites, sponsors, CROs and professional solution providers to help guide SCRS’ strategy to carry out its mission of unifying the voice of the global clinical research site community for greater site sustainability.
“As the 2021 recipient of the Christine K. Pierre Site Impact Award, Michele Cameron is clearly a strong advocate for the SCRS mission and the work we do on behalf of the sites. The SCRS Leadership Council helps determine strategic initiatives for SCRS, and Michele’s site-focused expertise will be a valuable addition to this group,” commented Allyson Small, SCRS Chief Operating Officer.
Cameron added, “I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the SCRS Leadership Council. My goal will be to contribute my experience and knowledge gained through working as a Project Director for a large sponsor and currently as a Site Director to broaden the understanding between sites and industry leaders in order to ‘find solutions through collaboration,’ a founding principle of SCRS founder, Christine Pierre.”
