Rochester, NY – August 15, 2013 – Bio-Optronics, the maker of the industry-leading CTMS Clinical Conductor, is proud to announce that it has joined forces with the Society of Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) as a Global Impact Partner. The Global Impact Partners (GIP) are a group of research professionals and industry providers who will work together to address the most pressing issues facing sites today, in addition to any future problems and trends.
Bio-Optronics is thrilled to be a part of this initiative. This partnership brings together the unique industry and research site experience that Bio-Optronics cultivated through its long-standing relationships, regularly working with over 1,600 research organizations using Clinical Conductor CTMS, and the unique perspective and voice of the multitude of research sites brought together by SCRS. Working together, we will be able to initiate a continuing dialogue that brings together site and industry expertise for the ongoing pursuit of enhancements in the delivery of clinical research and patient care.
Due to the significance of this initiative, Bio-Optronics’ CEO Dan Kerpelman will sit on the Global Impact Partners Board. The members of the board will provide ongoing development, feedback and support of industry initiatives designed to address the needs of clinical research sites.
In response to this partnership Dan Kerpelman says, “Through our years and breadth of experience working with clinical research organizations, we know we will bring a unique perspective to solving today’s most vexing research challenges, and we are pleased to be a part of this ongoing process.” The Global Impact Partners Board is designed to promote industry changes throughout the research process. This includes operational management, contracting, subject recruitment and retention and dozens of other topics. We look forward to a long and rewarding partnership with SCRS.
