FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sponsor and CRO Finalists Announced for 2021 SCRS Eagle Award

Hanover, MD, August 9, 2021 – Today the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) has announced the finalists for the 2021 SCRS Eagle Award. The SCRS Eagle Award honors one sponsor and one CRO that exemplify a site-focused approach to clinical trial management and have demonstrated outstanding leadership, professionalism, integrity, passion, and dedication to advancing the clinical research profession through strong site partnerships.

The finalists were selected from nominations provided by SCRS site members. Qualifying nominees were in the 75th percentile or higher of the total nominations submitted for this year’s Eagle Award.

The 2021 Sponsor nominees are: AbbVie, AstraZeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Eli Lilly and Company, Merck, Pfizer, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, and Sanofi.

The 2021 CRO nominees are: IQVIA, Labcorp (formerly Covance), Medpace, Novotech CRO, Parexel, PPD, PRA Health Sciences, and Syneos Health.

“The Eagle Award demonstrates the importance of SCRS’ mission of fostering collaborative partnerships between sites, sponsors, and CROs which is vital for the industry’s collective success,” said Allyson Small, SCRS Chief Operating Officer. “Site voices are being heard loud and clear and we are excited to see SCRS sites eager to nominate many sponsors and CROs. SCRS congratulates this year’s Eagle Award finalists and we look forward to announcing the winners during the Eagle Award Gala at the 2021 Global Site Solutions Summit.”

Voting is now open to all clinical research site professionals through September 9, 2021. Winners will be honored at the SCRS Eagle Award Gala at the 2021 Global Site Solutions Summit this October in Hollywood, Florida.
