FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ellicott City, MD, February 18, 2019 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) has announced the release of a new white paper produced in collaboration with Greenphire entitled “Financial Barriers to Site Sustainability, Patient Experience and Overall Trial Success”. The white paper expands on previous data and introduces four improvements that sponsors and CROs should implement in order to ensure positive site relationships and patient experiences.
“The importance of efficient and timely site payments is a topic that is addressed frequently among clinical research sites in the SCRS community,” said SCRS VP of business partnerships, Sean Soth. “This survey expands upon this topic and why it is important, provides considerations where sponsors and CROs can make adjustments, and ideas on how to make studies more patient-centric. The industry will continue to evolve to include site feedback in a variety of ways, and SCRS believes this data supports forward momentum on a topic that impacts site sustainability.”
“We are thrilled to collaborate with SCRS to bring a voice to trial sites and the challenges they’re facing,” said Jim Murphy, CEO, Greenphire. “This latest data reveals the opportunity to improve the entire clinical study lifecycle, from budget negotiation through patient engagement and reimbursement. We value these insights, and we are dedicated to continuous innovation and the evolution of the clinical trial payment process based on real industry needs.”
