April 2022

From the SCRS Team

The clinical research industry is experiencing unprecedented change. Several issues are at the forefront of discussions, including how to make trials more patient-centric without increasing site burdens.

This issue of InFocus shares what it means to be patient-centric and how the industry can progress together. Visit the recap of the March 2022 Sites NOW presentation and discussion from the breakout sessions as well as Medidata’s article providing best practices to engage patients pre- and post-trial. Real Chemistry also shares how to improve participant enrollment in trials by working with healthcare providers.

Another pressing issue the industry is laser-focused on is how to better engage and represent diverse communities in clinical research trials. The inaugural Diversity Site Solutions Summit is a month away, and we could not be more excited to host industry leaders, sites, and patients to share knowledge and proven best practices to meet this critical need. SCRS is continuing its free Diversity Webinar Series, with registration available now for select sessions. Make sure you are signed up for your member benefits to be notified about new webinars as they are added!

SCRS is proud to be a hub for all the discussions impacting clinical research today. Join us at a Sites NOW meeting or Summit, talk to site peers in the SCRS member community, or tune in to our weekly SCRS Talks episodes to stay up to date on trending industry news, SCRS initiatives, and much more!

We look forward to hosting you at the Diversity and Global Oncology Site Solutions Summits in Austin May 20-22!
