FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Date Announced for 2022 European Site Solutions Summit

Hanover, MD, January 24, 2022 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) has announced it will be rescheduling the 2022 European Site Solutions Summit to November 14-15, 2022. The Summit was originally planned to be held March 14-15, 2022, in Lisbon, Portugal.

SCRS made the change due to the surge of COVID-19 cases around the world and the resulting impact of stricter travel restrictions. Attendee safety continues to be a priority and moving the date to November should better align with approved travel windows for attendees coming from all parts of the globe.

“With the recent number of COVID-19 cases, SCRS feels it is in the best interest of attendees to move the European Summit to later in 2022. We anticipate even more organizations will be able to participate in the valuable conversations shaping the way for innovation in clinical research in November,” said Allyson Small, SCRS Chief Operating Officer. “We are looking forward to reuniting in-person with the European clinical research community to share best practices and forward-thinking solutions to ensure site sustainability.”

Registration for the 2022 European Site Solutions Summit is open now. Learn more at https://eusitesolutionssummit.com/  SCRS will continue to monitor all aspects of travel restrictions and regional COVID updates and communicate with its member and partner community accordingly.
