FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hanover, MD, September 9, 2021 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) today announced that THREAD, a leading technology and service provider enabling decentralized clinical trials (DCT), has joined the organization as a Global Impact Partner (GIP). The Global Impact Partner program provides a unique opportunity for sponsors, CROs and solution providers to engage with SCRS and its clinical research site members in meaningful ways.
Becoming a GIP demonstrates THREAD’s commitment to collaboration with research sites and contribution to the development and implementation of solutions in the marketplace. Working in tandem with SCRS’ Leadership Council, THREAD will also have the opportunity to participate in discussions and decisions that will help give sites a stronger voice within the global clinical research community.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with SCRS to unify the voice of clinical research sites globally as they enable the shift to hybrid decentralized clinical trials,” said John Reites, THREAD CEO. “THREAD values sites’ role as a key stakeholder in the clinical trial process and we are fully vested in ensuring their continued success. We look forward to being an active partner with SCRS to continue to create opportunities both for the site and the participants through DCTs.”
“Technology is empowering the clinical research industry with innovation,” said Sean Soth, SCRS’ Vice President of Global Business Partnerships. “THREAD recognizes that collaboration and dialogue with sites is a cornerstone for developing practical and innovative approaches to research. SCRS looks forward to collaborating with the THREAD team as a Global Impact Partner, to ensure a stronger future for site success.”
