SCRS to Participate in South Korea Site Symposium
Ellicott City, MD, June 11, 2019 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announced today that it will join the Korea Association of Clinical Trial Centers (KACTC) and the Korea National Enterprise for Clinical Trials (KoNECT) for their 2019 KACTC Symposium. KACTC’s purpose is in part to support the safety and efficacy of clinical trials within the region. The Symposium will be held June 27, 2019 1:30 – 5:00pm at Seoul National University Hospital, Biomedical Research Institute in Seoul, South Korea.
SCRS’ vice president of global engagement, Dan Milam, will present on the benefits of the SCRS Ambassador Program which brings member benefits of advocacy, education, mentorship and connection to clinical research sites in the region, and on the SCRS Best Site Practices Program which helps sites measure and showcase their performance and development to sponsors. Presentations will also be given by KACTC president, In-Jin Jang and others, including representatives from Seoul National University Hospital and other local clinical research organizations.

SCRS is planning an Ambassador Symposium to be hosted in South Korea in 2020.
