FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Society for Clinical Research Sites Announces New Inspection Readiness Webinar Series

Ellicott City, M.D., April 21, 2015 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS), the global trade organization fully dedicated to representing the interests of clinical research sites, today announced a new Inspection Readiness webinar series available to all industry professionals. The five-part webinar series is designed to provide valuable knowledge, tools, and resources critical for inspection preparation, and is a culmination of the dedicated work of SCRS’ Education Community.

“The Inspection Readiness webinar series marks a major milestone for SCRS’ Learning Campus,” comments Christine Pierre, SCRS President. “Each of the five modules addresses a different phase of the inspection process, pre-visit to post-visit, and provides critical information and practical tools that attendees will find invaluable. I congratulate and deeply thank the SCRS Education Community for their rigorous work to see this project to completion and their support of the Society’s mission. This interactive series is a manifestation of SCRS’ commitment to providing meaningful and advanced knowledge, education, and mentorship to clinical research sites globally.”

The Inspection Readiness series will be conducted by a panel of industry experts, inclusive of representation from leading pharmaceutical companies, sites, and legal and IRB perspectives. The panelists will review case studies and actual response examples, and analyze the role of Risk Based Monitoring in the inspection.

The SCRS Inspection Readiness series is included as part of each SCRS membership and is available to others for a nominal cost.  The webinar series will be taking place on a bi-weekly basis from April 29, 2015 to June 24, 2015. Registration for the series is inclusive of all slides used, recordings, and handouts, and can be done on the SCRS website.
