FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SCRS Announces Success of Site Qualification and Training Informational Modules

Ellicott City, MD, October 12, 2016 – Two months after making the Informational Modules from TransCelerate’s Site Qualification and Training (SQT) initiative available on the SCRS website, the success of the program is evident.

“The SQT Informational Modules are designed to provide clinical research education to sites,” said Christine Pierre, President of SCRS. “SCRS partnered with TransCelerate to provide the Informational Modules to better serve the sites. So far the modules have been accessed more than 1,000 times by site personnel around the globe. SCRS is happy to offer these Informational Modules complementary to anyone, regardless of whether they are members of SCRS.”

Katarina Hugeneck, SQT Initiative Leader for TransCelerate and Manager of Global Study Training at Eli Lilly and Company, explains, “The content within the Informational Programs was developed with the collective knowledge and expertise of TransCelerate Member Company personnel with contributions from sites staff representatives through an SCRS Site Advocacy Group. We believe that these readily available resources will prove to be beneficial to sites as they prepare to conduct clinical research, and represents an important step in improving the relationship between sites and clinical trial sponsors.”

These solutions were created in accordance with the ICH Guideline for Good Clinical Practice: Consolidated Guidance (E6) and can be accessed through the SCRS website here.
