FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ellicott City, MD, August 2, 2018 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) is preparing for the 2018 Global Site Solutions Summit October 12-14 in Boca Raton, Florida. More than 1000 executives from site, pharmaceutical, sponsor, CRO and solution provider organizations will come together to collaborate on best practices to improve site sustainability and amplify industry success.
The Global Site Solutions Summit celebrates the value of strong site partnerships as a critical component of the clinical research enterprise. In 2018, the Summit will showcase more pharmaceutical sponsor organizations than ever before.
Sean Soth, vice president of business partnerships, shared, “SCRS continues to bring together sites, sponsors, CROs and solution providers in a meaningful way. The Summit centers on collaboration, and industry organizations are improving their understanding and commitment of how highly performing site relationships can impact studies and research outcomes.”
Attendee engagement continues to be a priority as many pharmaceutical organizations have made commitments to attend, with several also planning to exhibit.
Exhibiting pharmaceutical sponsors include: AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Pfizer, Roche and Sanofi.
Debra Rogge of AstraZeneca said, “I am delighted and find it a great privilege to be at SCRS as a Global Impact Partner and exhibitor. The opportunity to engage with site personnel and PIs to better understand how we can make the sponsor experience more simplistic and collaborative is a primary reason for AstraZeneca’s attendance at the Summit. Without our sites and their willingness to conduct AstraZeneca clinical trials, innovative medicine development would not be possible for patients.”
The agenda at the Global Site Solutions Summit provides plenary and breakout sessions and workshops, collaborative crowd sourcing, and regular networking opportunities focused on site challenges, operational opportunities and business performance.
