SCRS Welcomes Monroe Biomedical Research as New Global Impact Partner

July 22, 2025

July 22, 2025 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) is proud to announce Monroe Biomedical Research (MBR) as a new Global Impact Partner (GIP).

Located in Monroe, North Carolina, MBR conducts a broad range of outpatient and inpatient clinical trials, with a focus on infectious disease, internal medicine, cardiometabolic conditions, and respiratory diseases. MBR has distinguished itself as a research leader through consistent high enrollment performance and its ongoing efforts to advance representation in clinical trials, with an ethnically diverse, pre-screened patient database. As a GIP, MBR will work alongside SCRS and leading industry organizations to shape clinical research best practices and champion the voice of the clinical research site globally.

“Becoming an SCRS Global Impact Partner is a meaningful milestone for Monroe Biomedical Research. As a company built on the belief that clinical trials should reflect and serve real-world communities, we’re excited to collaborate with SCRS and fellow leaders to strengthen the voice of sites, improve trial quality, accelerate enrollment, and ultimately improve outcomes for patients everywhere,” said Suvi Gross, CEO, Monroe Biomedical Research.

Marcus Maleck, VP of Global Business Partnerships with SCRS, commented, “Monroe Biomedical Research’s status as one of the highest enrolling research centers in the U.S. brings tremendous value to the SCRS community. Their deep expertise and commitment to advancing inclusive clinical research will strengthen the collaborative efforts of our GIP program. We are proud to welcome MBR and look forward to the meaningful contributions they will make alongside our industry partners.”

The SCRS GIP program fosters a unique collaboration between industry leaders and research sites, facilitating open dialogue and joint efforts to develop solutions to shared challenges across the clinical research landscape.
