SCRS Ambassador Program Prepares for Asia, Africa and Latin America Events

July 11, 2024

July 11, 2024 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS), the global trade organization fully dedicated to clinical research site sustainability, is pleased to announce the launch of the 2024 SCRS Ambassador Program with three virtual symposiums in October and November.

The SCRS Ambassador Program cultivates a network of influential research industry professionals who aim to bridge the gap between clinical research sites within their respective regions. Through virtual symposiums, research sites will gain essential business strategies and insights on regional research trends and technology with opportunities to collaborate with industry partners. Regional sites attending the symposiums will also receive a one-year scholarship for SCRS membership.

Current SCRS Ambassador Program events include virtual symposiums for research professionals in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Registration for the three symposiums is now available at myscrs.org/industry-partnerships/ambassador-program.

“As a global organization, SCRS recognizes the importance of building and supporting a strong community of clinical research collaborators. The Ambassador Program represents a significant step towards creating a more united clinical research landscape,” commented Michael Pierre, SCRS Project Manager and Ambassador Program Lead. “Our goal is to foster advocates for clinical research sites internationally, empowering researchers to enhance their operations, partnerships, and trial outcomes. By providing a platform to promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing, the program will equip sites with the insights and tools needed for long-term success.”

Early support for the Ambassador Program comes from Cognizant, Greenphire, Lilly, PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, Sanofi, and Scout Clinical. Regional Ambassador Program country leads and corporate sponsors have the opportunity to identify new research collaborations with participating sites and industry counterparts.
