FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hanover, MD, December 16, 2021 – The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) has announced it is now accepting submissions for the Christine K. Pierre (CKP) Site Impact Award. In honor of late SCRS founder Christine K. Pierre’s vision and legacy, SCRS created the CKP Site Impact Award to recognize an industry leader who has made an extraordinary contribution to furthering the voice of the clinical research site community.
The CKP Site Impact Award is given annually at the Global Site Solutions Summit to one esteemed innovator within the clinical research site industry. The recipients of this award are strong advocates on behalf of the site community and uphold the pillars of SCRS by supporting the education, advocacy, mentorship and connection of clinical research sites. Previous winners include Michele Cameron, Director of Clinical Research at Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants, David Vulcano, Vice President of Research Compliance and Integrity at HCA Healthcare, and Kay Scroggins, President and CEO of Clinical Trials of Texas.
“The CKP Site Impact Award is exceptionally meaningful to SCRS and the clinical research community as we recognize incredible individuals and their contributions to Christine’s mission,” commented Allyson Small, SCRS Chief Operating Officer. “The past recipients of these awards have shown dedication and commitment to ensuring the site voice is heard, and we look forward to honoring Christine Pierre’s legacy through this year’s recipient.”
The winner will be selected based on their contributions to the sustainability of the clinical research site community. Any individual that works at an SCRS member site is eligible for nomination. Submissions can be made via the SCRS Global Site Solutions Summit website through August 15, 2022.
