Launched in 2016 by the Society of Clinical Research Sites (SCRS), the IncluDE Program is a pioneering initiative dedicated to advancing best practices that support clinical trial sites to ensure participant populations reflect the real-world patients affected by the conditions being studied.
IncluDE fosters cross-industry collaboration among sites, sponsors, CROs, and service providers. Together, these stakeholders explore the current landscape, address historical process barriers, and then co-create site-driven solutions to promote more representative research.

Program Goals
Over the last 5 years, industry has undergone a transformative shift toward more systematic, intentional efforts to improve representation in clinical trials.
What sets the IncluDE Program apart is its practical, action-driven approach. IncluDE turns intention into impact through site-driven, real-world solutions co-created with sites, sponsors, CROs, and service providers. These resources are designed to be both accessible and adaptable, supporting sites no matter where they are on their inclusion journey. Whether you’re just starting or scaling an established strategy, IncluDE meets you where you are and grows with you.
IncluDE operates as a dynamic, evolving collaborative platform. By fostering innovation, sharing emerging practices, and facilitating meaningful engagement, the program helps dismantle barriers to participation and drives progress toward equity in clinical research, at a time when accessible healthcare solutions are more critical than ever.
